Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to determine the susceptibility level of the files from various provinces to insecticides. The adult files (F1, F2) were tested by topical application with malathion, fenitrothion, propoxur and permethrin at the dosage rate of 1 microlitre per female fly. The results revealed that many house flies in Thailand were low resistant to malathion and permethrin, but many of them were susceptible to fenitrothion and propoxur.
