A number of 181 aerosol samples of household insecticides, submitting by the private companies during 1987 to 1994 were analyzed by glass chamber method for bioefficiency against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes, 98.9% of samples confirm to the standard of testing method and 47.5% of them have KT50 between 2-3 mins. The results showed that most formulations contained Pyrethroids as their active ingredients, particularly Permethrin (49.2%). The most efficient product formulation was Sumithrin + Prallethrin.
