  1. Study, analyze, research and develop laboratory knowledge and technology on intestinal bacteriology, general bacteriology, anaerobic bacteriology, Salmonella and Shigella, medical bacteriology, and mycobacteria.
  2. Develop the system and set the standard of intestinal bacteriology, general bacteriology, anaerobic bacteriology, Salmonella and Shigella, medical bacteriology, and mycobacteria.
  3. Be a reference laboratory on intestinal bacteriology, general bacteriology, anaerobic bacteriology, Salmonella and Shigella, medical bacteriology, and mycobacteria.
  4. Be an information center on intestinal bacteriology, general bacteriology, anaerobic bacteriology, Salmonella and Shigella, medical bacteriology, and mycobacteria.
  5. Plan and act according to international acceptant quality system. 
  6. Develop laboratory quality, academic support and technology transfer to networking laboratories, government and private laboratories.
  7. Co-work with or support the work of other relevant sections or as assigned.

 

Consists of 6 units as 

Miscellaneous Bacteria Section

  • Study, analyze, research and develop laboratory knowledge and technology on miscellaneous bacteria.
  • Develop the system and set the standard of miscellaneous bacteria analysis.
  • Be a reference laboratory on miscellaneous bacteria.
  • Be an information center on miscellaneous bacteria, drug-resistance laboratory and surveillance center, and medical microbioorganism preserve center.
  • Plan and act according to international acceptant quality system.
  • Develop laboratory quality, provide academic support and technology transfer on miscellaneous bacteria to networking laboratories, government and private laboratories.
  • Co-work with or support the work of other relevant units.

 

Enteric Bacteria Section

  • Study, analyze, research and develop laboratory knowledge and technology on enteric bacteria.
  • Develop the system and set the standard of enteric bacteria analysis.
  • Be a reference laboratory on enteric bacteria.
  • Be an information center on enteric bacteria.
  • Plan and act according to international acceptant quality system.
  • Develop laboratory quality, provide academic support and technology transfer on enteric bacteria to networking laboratories, government and private laboratories.
  • Co-work with or support the work of other relevant units.

 

Anaerobic Bacteria Section

  • Study, analyze, research and develop laboratory knowledge and technology on anaerobic bacteria.
  • Develop the system and set the standard of anaerobic bacteria analysis.
  • Be a reference laboratory on anaerobic bacteria.
  • Be an information center on anaerobic bacteria.
  • Plan and act according to international acceptant quality system.
  • Develop laboratory quality, provide academic support and technology transfer on anaerobic bacteria to networking laboratories, government and private laboratories.

Salmonella and Shigella Section

  • Study, analyze, research and develop laboratory knowledge and technology on Salmonella and Shigella.
  • Develop the system and set the standard of Salmonella and Shigella analysis.
  • Be a reference laboratory on Salmonella and Shigella.
  • Be an information center on Salmonella and Shigella.
  • Plan and act according to international acceptant quality system.
  • Develop laboratory quality, provide academic support and technology transfer on Salmonella and Shigella to networking laboratories, government and private laboratories.
  • Co-work with or support the work of other relevant units.

 

Isolation and Identification of Medical Bacteria Section

  • Study, analyze, research and develop laboratory knowledge and technology on medical bacteria.
  • Plan and act according to international acceptant quality system.
  • Develop laboratory quality, provide academic support and technology transfer on medical bacteria to networking laboratories, government and private laboratories.
  • Co-work with or support the work of other relevant units.

 

Mycobacteria Section

  • Study, analyze, research and develop laboratory knowledge and technology on leprosy and mycobacteria.
  • Develop the system and set the standard of leprosy and mycobacteria analysis.
  • Be a reference laboratory on leprosy and mycobacteria.
  • Be an information center on leprosy and mycobacteria.
  • Plan and act according to international acceptant quality system.
  • Develop laboratory quality, provide academic support and technology transfer on leprosy and mycobacteria to networking laboratories, government and private laboratories.
  • Co-work with or support the work of other relevant units.
